Ingredients

  • 1 package brioche slider buns
  • 1 lb honey-glazed ham thin slices
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 8 rings fresh pineapple slices or canned, rinsed
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sriracha or to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter melted, for toasting

Equipment

  • Sharp Knife
  • Baking dish
  • Basting brush

Method

  1. Slice the buns horizontally in half, keeping the top and bottom connected if possible. Set aside.
  2. Lay the bottom half of the buns in a baking dish, creating a flat base.
  3. Layer slices of honey-glazed ham evenly over the bottom buns, spreading out to cover the surface.
  4. Arrange pineapple rings on top of the ham, distributing them evenly for bright sweetness and juiciness.
  5. Place slices of Swiss cheese over the pineapple, covering all the toppings for gooey richness.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and sriracha to make a tangy, spicy glaze. Brush this mixture generously over the cut side of the top buns.
  7. Cover the assembled sliders with the top half of the buns, pressing down gently to compact the layers.
  8. Melt the butter and brush it over the tops of the buns to help them toast golden and add flavor.
  9. Place the baking dish in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) and bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the buns are toasted to a golden brown.
  10. Remove the sliders from the oven and let them rest for about 5 minutes, allowing the cheese to set slightly and making them easier to serve.
  11. Slice into individual servings if desired, then serve warm with optional fresh herbs or extra pineapple on top for added brightness.
