Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese preferably freshly grated
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup mayonnaise for creaminess
  • 1 cup chopped spinach fresh or thawed frozen, drained
  • 1 can artichoke hearts drained and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt optional, to taste

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking dish
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, shredded mozzarella, and grated Parmesan cheese until well blended.
  3. Stir in the chopped spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, and minced garlic, folding everything together to create a creamy, chunky mixture.
  4. Season the mixture with black pepper and salt, adjusting to taste, and mix again to distribute the seasoning evenly.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden around the edges.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly—this helps the dip set and makes it easier to serve.
  8. Serve the spinach artichoke dip warm with chips, bread, or vegetable sticks for dipping.

Notes

For a richer flavor, sprinkle a bit of extra Parmesan on top before baking. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes for some heat.
